She inherited the throne after all of the people before her died.
She was Protestant, but tried to keep peace with the Catholics by keeping some of their traditions.
Elizabeth I was extremely smart. She knew several languages; this interest and support helped the development of English literature and art.
When Queen Elizabeth I was ruling money was a problem in England. They invested in the Americas to help solve this problem. England did not help Elizabeth; she was still in need for money throughout her reign.
She is known for being one of the most effective monarchs.
